Description:

Trinity Health of New England in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist. The employee is responsible for the operation of Radiation Equipment to provide Radiation Therapy to patients of all ages particularly focusing on the adult patient as prescribed by physicians and according to established standards and practices. Full access to contrast media is given to the incumbent of this position because they are required by their job responsibilities to transport, stock, prepare, or administer contrast media as dictated by scope of practice

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, 40 Hour – Days – With Call

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Active Teamwork : Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
  • Exceptional Patient Care : Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority.
  • Excellent Communicator : Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member.

  • Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.

Requirements :

  • Education : Graduation from an approved program in Radiation Therapy
  • Experience: Board eligible by the ARRT or 1 year experience
  • Licensure: Board eligible for registry by the ARRT. Must have graduated from accredited program and then has 90 days to present evidence of licensure.
