Oncology Nurse Navigator Jobs

To coordinate patient care activities for Rush-Copley patients with cancer by guiding them through the health care system, collaborating with physicians, providing support, education, referrals, coordination of care. The Oncology Nurse Navigator is responsible for establishing and managing an ongoing relationship with the Cancer Center team to facilitate a timely, integrated and coordinated approach to the care of patients with a cancer diagnosis. The Oncology Nurse Navigator will assume a leadership role in areas of professional practice, staff development, education, program development and quality management. The core aspects of this role focus on leadership, consultation, education, and clinical expertise in the area of medical oncology. Supports initiatives within the Cancer Care Center as related to patient services and programs.
