How You’ll Make an Impact

The Onboarding Specialist supports the company’s new stores by coordinating initial product ordering, load-in of indirect supplies, and set up of utilities and services, enabling seamless Day1 operations and the customer experience. Indirect supplies include tools, uniforms, safety PPE, janitorial, etc. Services include uniforms, trash, safety programs, etc.

Expect to support multiple new store projects at a time while managing activities across several internal business groups and external vendors. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the timely ordering and delivery of products, indirect supplies, and services to new company-operated stores as dictated by the Valvoline Retail Services new store pipeline.
  • Contributing to improvements to drive efficiencies with onboarding processes related to indirect supplies and services. Lending support to programs such as store-in-a-box (store operating supplies, uniforms, and trash pick-up.
  • Upon request, providing similar support to franchisees with their new store onboarding activities and other teams within the Central Operations group.
  • Working primarily with Operations, Customer Experience, and Valvoline Procurement teams, ensuring standard item catalogs and vendor portfolios are maintained to support onboarding needs, efficiency, and quality.


What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • General business knowledge and understanding of financial cost control concepts
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Self-motivated, independent thinker, possesses effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Aptitude for project management
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience
