Job Description

Atlanta Audio & Automation is a small fast paced business working in the exciting world of smart home electronics and home automation. We are looking for an Office/Purchasing Manager to organize, coordinate, and manager office operations and procedures, to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.


We are looking for a take charge depenable person, who will assume responsibility for the day to day back office operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative/operatioal challenges of supporting a small office of a fast paced business environment.This person will support and report directly to the owners of the business, while supporting our sales and field operations staff.

We are looking for someone who tech savvy, high energy, hardworking, go getter, polished, strong communication skills, trustworthy, and dependable. Someone with a can-do attitude, who is on time, who goes above and beyond what is asked of them.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain records of inventory and necessary operating materials
  • Partner with owners to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Organize and plan training and educational meetings, travel, and customer/vendor events
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to appropriate personnel
  • Ordering equipment for our upcoming projects, create purchase orders, negotiate with vendors for the best prices/terms, ensure vendors meet quality standards, purchase inventory items and field supplies
  • Provide general support to visitors, and general customer service
  • Maintain and manage fleet services and maintanance
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
  • Ordering office supplies and maintaining offices/experience centers
  • Maintain product pricing and other databases
  • Daily management of the inventory in our warehouse including:Order, receive, identify, scan, and stage materials/equipment in the warehouse according to established inventory procedures
  • Assist sales or installation teams


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
  • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Technology savvy
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Ability to grasp the big picture
  • Data entry experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and QuickBooks (a plus, but not a requirement)
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.


HOURS: 8:00am to 4:00pm M-F with some flexibility
