Job Description

Provides support and assists with the overall administration of assigned department projects and programs. Coordinates special projects for department physicians and administration.
This position will work in multiple locations, including department offices and clinics.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinates projects for physicians and administration, including Home for Dinner, faculty vacation project, and Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion.
2. Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, and records & distributes meeting minutes.
3. Assists Vice Chairs with special projects and programs.
4. Oversees Project Echo for Dermatology.
5. Provides support and troubleshooting for virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
6. Assists with resident and rotating student schedules.
7. Provides support and backup to the Administrative Assistant team.
8. Prepares and updates documents, composes letters and memos.
9. Helps coordinate and facilitate other special projects as they arise.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) in a related area and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and effective communication skills required. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Ability to work independently, analyze, and make decisions to provide support to internal and external customers.
