Description


POSITION SUMMARY:


Enters data into computer for the Tax Department while ensuring the proper and professional handling of inquires according to established procedures.


Position Duties


  • Respond to correspondence from taxpayers and clients.
  • Keeps record of work completed.
  • Research, Adjust, add or correct Tax accounts.
  • Files or routes source documents after entry.
  • Process payments and payment transactions to the proper account in a timely fashion.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Process returned mail and place accounts on proper status.
  • Answer Telephone calls for all inquiries as needed
  • Process tax additions when necessary.
  • Process tax receipts, duplicate bills and tax certifications
  • Perform maintenance on accounts consisting of but not limited to: address changes, employer information updates, returned mail, exonerations, interim notices and payment plans.
  • Set accounts for appropriate interim forms when necessary.
