Office Appliance Repair

This position is responsible for repairing and servicing office machines such as adding and industrial staplers, using hand tools, and occasionally power tools. This worker makes keys, fixes locks, replaces bulbs and ballast in light fixtures, assembles, disassembles, and reconfigures work station cubicles. Repairs, adjust or replaces parts for cabinets and chairs, and cleans oils moving parts. This person may move property i.e. boxes, furniture, carts, transport and deliver mail to buildings as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to process routine reports, must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, and be able to operate a government general purpose vehicle. Position requires the need to pass and maintain a Staff-Like Access Clearance for the IRS.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Two (2) years of job-related experience including basic computer operations skills is required.
  • General tool and maintenance skills required.
