Clinical Care

You have a place in the health care industry! One of the most rewarding ways that we can rehabilitate patients is in their own home. Whether recovering from an acute stay away from home or a short term illness, helping patients learn to navigate the safety challenges that their own home presents is both valuable and rewarding. Home Health is the best way to set patients up for independence and success in their own space, and at the cutting edge of healthcare.

Banner Home Health is a four-star home care agency with a track record for quality and excellence and is the largest skilled home care agency in Phoenix. We provide support to our therapy teams with a robust clinical support team: a field preceptor, an IT specialist, scheduler, therapy supervisor, and nurse manager. Our agency strives for the best possible patient outcomes with support from QI specialists, documentation support specialists, telehealth resources, and more. Having a strong clinical support structure is important to supporting our field clinicians in managing their caseload appropriately while not feeling alone.

As a Banner Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will enjoy working in sub-assigned geographic territories with smaller travel distances than many other agencies. You will enjoy an autonomous but supportive work environment and have the option to work pay per visit or hourly. We offer mileage reimbursement and will provide you a company cell phone and a tablet for documentation in our electronic medical record system (Home Care Home Base).

Banner Home Health offers an opportunity to treat patients with a wide variety of clinical conditions and goals– post-op orthopedic patients, neuro rehab, cardiac issues and more. We pride ourselves on integration with the hospital system. Our therapy team is constantly growing in collaboration and expansion within our Banner network of hospitals and physicians. If you are looking for a variety of clinical treatment settings and personalized care, Banner Home Care is the place for you. This is a Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm position with visits in the East Valley (Central/South Phoenix and Tempe area) .

Ranked in the top 25 percent of all home care agencies in the United States, Banner Home Care is the largest nonprofit, free-standing home care agency in Arizona. We provide intermittent health care for patients of all ages in the comfort of their home. Our home care team is experienced, compassionate and professional, and the results prove that Banner Home Care measures better than the national and Arizona average in almost all Medicare Quality Compare patient satisfaction results. Banner Hospice have been providing comfort care for the past 10 years in the Phoenix Metro area. The goal is to support quality of life, honor the wishes of patients, maintain the dignity of the individual and support the family through their grieving process. Inpatient Home care is also available for respite care and symptom management. The Banner Hospice Team can provide comfort to the patient and family by alleviating symptoms, by providing meaningful help and by creating an environment to develop lasting final memories.
