Experienced occupational therapist needed for treatment of patients with a range of neurological conditions in a fast-paced outpatient clinic based at a large teaching hospital.

Massachusetts General Hospital’s Outpatient Occupational Therapy Department services neurologic, orthopedic-hand and pediatric populations in thriving outpatient clinics that spans across multiple satellites in the Boston area. There is an immediate opening for an occupational therapist to work with a wide range of neurological conditions such as Stroke, ALS, Parkinson’s Disease, Functional Neurological Disorders, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury and concussion. As part of a large teaching hospital, this position includes opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with MGH’s leading clinical and research programs within the neurology department.

OT candidates must have experience working with neurologic populations, a strong framework for clinical examination/evaluation skills, excellent communication and a clinical curiosity that drives learning. Experience in program development, neuropsychiatric conditions and trauma informed care is a plus. Minimum Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy; MA licensed.
