Ob/Gyn Nurse (Rn)

A healthcare network in Westchester County is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growingOB/GYN team at one of their practices.

About The Opportunity

• Schedule:Monday to Friday
• Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN Office
• Patient Population: Adolescents & adults
• Hours:9am to5pm

Responsibilities

The OB/GYN Nurse (RN) will:

• Informand educate patient/family to enable participation in their care and decision-making
• Assist with telephone triage
• Triage all sick and walk-in patients
• Establish therapeutic and supportive relationships with patients and family
• Provideand/or delegatepatient care according to the care goals
• Acts as a resource person
• Performtherapeutic treatments and procedures
• Coordinatein-patient admissions and ER referrals
• Coordinate client care including referral back to primary provider
• Performall other related duties, as assigned
• Administer oral/IM/IV/SQ/Inhaled medications
• Coordinatedelegates and/or provides all other patient care activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Patient oriented
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Highly organized
• Great interpersonal skills
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• 1+ year of experience in an OB/GYN and/or Outpatient setting
• Strong attention to detail
