Job Description

Well-established women's healthcare practice in Main Line Philadelphia is seeking an OB/GYN Laborist to join their team.

Laborist Schedule:

Average 40 hours/week, with 1-2, 12-15 hour shifts; 1, 8 hour shift (weekday in clinic); & 1 weekend of call coverage monthly. Call coverage to include covering Gyn consults in the ED.

  • Mon-Thu 14.5 hours, 5:00 pm-7:30 am.
  • 1 Weekend of call/month. Saturday 24 hours (8:00 am - Sunday 8:00 am) & Sunday 23.5 hours (8:00 am - Monday 7:30 am).
  • Friday 20 hours, 12:00 pm - 8:00 am.

About the practice:

  • 50/50 OB/GYN ratio. Low-High risk OB.
  • 5 Provider Team (3 OB/GYN Physicians & 2 Certified Nurse Midwives)
  • Approximately 200 deliveries annually.
  • Robotics
  • In-office procedures.
  • 2 Office Locations Affiliated with Main Line Health - Riddle Hospital.

Riddle Hospital (Main Line Health):

  • Level II NICU
  • All services in house: 24/hr anesthesia and neonatal specialists.

Mentorship:

  • Resident graduates and early-career physicians can choose to participate in Axia’s Mentorship program and receive one-on-one support and guidance from a senior physician mentor.
