Job Description
Our Kaiser Permanente medical group is now hiring OBGYN Hospitalists to care for Kaiser Permanente members at our affiliated hospitals in the Northern VA region. These positions include Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care for pregnant Kaiser Permanente members as well as emergency GYN services for Kaiser Permanente patients who present to the Emergency Department. Work in a collegial environment alongside talented colleagues, enjoy a reasonable call schedule, integrated inpatient/outpatient EMR systems, 24/7 access to specialty consultants, and freedom from RVU’s. Board eligibility and the ability to obtain an active DC, Maryland, and Virginia medical license are required. Preferred: 2-3 years experience and board certification. We offer a competitive salary (based on MGMA data), exceptional benefits, a 401k contribution and pension plan, paid occurrence based malpractice insurance, and the opportunity to attain shareholder status in about two years.
Living and working in the Mid-Atlantic Region offers you all of the convenience of two major metropolitan areas with easy access to the Chesapeake Bay, Shenandoah Mountains, and Atlantic Ocean. The region is great for families: the local public schools are considered among the finest in the country. Best of all, you are just minutes away from the cultural, historical, and entertainment venues of our nation’s capital.
