NVH Engineer

BETA CAE Systems USA, Inc. is a world class leader in Engineering Solutions across automotive, aerospace, chemical, defense, and biomechanics industries.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform transfer path analysis to root cause dominant paths and contributions to NVH performance issues.
  • Build FEA models for simulation purpose.
  • Monitor and participate in required NVH testing, analyze and present results: vehicle testing on a track or chassis dynamometer, subjective analysis of noise/vibration quality, objective data analysis of noise/vibration, frequency analysis, order analysis/order tracking, modal analysis, and transfer path analysis.
  • Develop design solutions to address NVH issues.
  • Perform normal modes, frequency response and transient analyses to identify issues and resolutions.
  • Responsible for NVH/CAE analysis of the full vehicle, subsystems and components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with LMS Test-Lab
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX workstations
  • BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • Experience in weight/cost optimization.
  • Experience using Nastran, Ansa, Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh.
