The WellSpring School of Allied Health is a Kansas City-based post-secondary school. WellSpring, a fixture in the Kansas City area for more than 32 years, is exclusively focused on preparing graduates for successful careers in health and wellness-oriented professions.

We are looking for a driven, energetic, highly skilled person to join our Nutrition instructor team. This is a hybrid program, delivered both online and in a classroom setting. This is a part-time position for daytime and/or evening courses.

Job Duties

• Instruct students in a classroom and online environment to prepare them for the job field.

• Manage a group of students with various learning styles.

• Effectively deliver the material so that each objective in the course is achieved.

• Submit grades and attendance in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with other instructors to improve curriculum in the assigned discipline program.

• Consistently present a positive environment for learning and interaction.

Job Requirements

1) Graduated from an accredited certification program in wellness coaching and/or nutrition.

2) Two years experience in Nutrition & Wellness Coaching OR three-years work experience in the nutrition/wellness industry if #1 is not fulfilled.

3) Have a current certification or license to work in the field, or closely related field.

4) Demonstrate strength in instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques.

5) Display professionalism at all times and present in a way that is in the best interest of the school and the profession.

4-year degree a plus
