Nursing Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator

Castle Peak, a 5-star rated senior care community located in scenic Eagle, CO, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday and rotating on-call weekends.

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Track attendance and work with DON to complete disciplinary action forms.
• Interview candidates for open nursing and CNA positions.

Scheduler/ Staffing Coordinator skills and requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling.
• 2 years of experience in long-term care, and ideally at least 1 year as either certified nursing assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred.
• 1+ year of prior nursing staffing/scheduling experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
