Job Description

Overview

At Headlands Research, we are building a best in class clinical trial network. We’re an exceptional family of next-generation clinical trial sites, integrating cutting edge technology and high-quality support services, and significantly expanding participant engagement Founded in 2018, our company operates 12 clinical trial sites in the US and Canada with rapid plans for expansion.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical trials site so that we can branch into new areas of medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements
  • Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits
  • Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members
  • Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports
  • Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial
  • Maintains proper documentation
  • Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility

Qualifications

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements, principles of GCP, and biomedical research ethics
  • 5+ years of experience working as a provider within the healthcare industry in the US required
  • 1+ years of current experience working in a clinical research organization required
  • Unencumbered and current license to practice as an NP/PA in the state of MI
