Job Description
Salary Range: $48.1700 - $74.0600 /hour
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a registered professional who possesses the required skills and judgement necessary to obtain quality nuclear medicine studies. The technologist I will work under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor and the Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to perform routine and advanced technical procedures. In the event of an absence of the Technical Supervisor, the technologist I will work under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist III. All Nuclear Medicine Technologists must have good interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety measures and infection control. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I must have the ability and the willingness to follow instructions, exhibit clinical proficiency specific to age of population served and the necessary technical skills to perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine procedures with minimal supervision.

Required:
All technologists must be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program and licensed by the State of California (CTNM) and hold advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine from the ARRT and/or NMTCB. Technologists performing PET studies must also hold advanced certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT. American Heart Association BLS certification is also required.

Preferred:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist must have good interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of proper body mechanics, safety measures, and infection control.
