YOUR LIFE AS A NONPROFIT RECEPTIONIST


This full-time entry-level customer service and administrative position in human services works during the day.


You play an essential role in serving as the face of our nonprofit, as a Nonprofit Receptionist in human services. Warmly greeting visitors, you capture daily participant attendance. Using our Fedcap CARES system, you run reports and use that data to plan daily tasks as well as answer and direct calls or schedule appointments for participants. As needed, you conduct calls or mail outreach letters to program participants who've missed appointments, orientation, or other activities.


You are responsible for collecting and timestamping documentation provided by program participants. Additionally, you mark participant attendance for internal and external activities as well as identify and order needed office supplies. If you need to step away, you ensure the reception area is covered to greet guests and answer phones. Your positive and professional demeanor makes participants and visitors feel welcome and your hard work and hospitality keep our customers satisfied. It brings you great fulfillment to know you serve in such an important administrative role!


What We Need From You


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service
  • Covid-19 vaccination
