What will you be doing:


The Senior Specialist, Contracting/ Sourcing leads or assists in leading a specific service line or range of service lines in the sourcing and/ or contracting related activities necessary to support daily operations and savings. Responsibilities may include administration, forecasting, and managing an assigned portfolio of contracts and may include developing a project plan for assigned product categories, identification to contract execution and management of initiatives, which includes spend analysis, financial modeling, direct negotiations, internal and external terms and conditions collaboration, presentation creation for value analysis and/ or client committees, and contract management. Financial modeling includes supplier spend analyses, tier impact analyses and financial analyses for assigned product categories. The Senior Specialist provides inputs into the sourcing process and strategy, and executes the process on multiple medium to high complexity categories. Will collaborate daily with Nexera Sourcing/ Contracting leadership and/ or Client leadership for guidance and direction with complexities of contract portfolio or issue resolution.

Complex Data Analytics, Contract Management, Financial Modeling, Project Management, Sourcing Management


Education:


Bachelors (Required)


Preferred Qualifications


Relevant Experience to include:


  • Financial Analysis
  • Partner Contract experience
  • Coursework in purchasing or supply chain, healthcare, logistics, materials management, finance, operations, project management, technology, business intelligence tools, leadership training
  • Experience in Med/Surg, Purchased Services, Capital, Physician Preference Item sourcing/ contracting


Education:


Master’s Degree

Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
