Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Non-Certified Surgical Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As an Operating Room Non-Certified Surgical Technician, you will:
  • Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
  • Assists the Surgical Team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
  • Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
  • Serve as surgical assistant as needed
  • Prepare the Operation Room with all the necessary supplies
  • Assist in order and restocking Operating Room supplies and instruments

Qualifications include:
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Tech program
  • One year of current Certified Surgical Tech experience in a hospital environment preferred with strong computer skills
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Valid Surgical Tech National License required (or 6 months upon hire)
Work Schedule:
7a-730pm with on-call and holiday requirements.
