Night Sanitation Technician Jobs

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Sanitation Technician in our Lancaster, TX warehouse. The Sanitation Technician will work in the Meat processing department.

General Responsibilities:

-Be directly responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the commissary plant equipment
-Use all proper cleaning procedures so that it meets with both In-N-Out Burger and USDA standards
-Clean and sanitize food processing equipment
-Assist in reassembling equipment when necessary
-Monitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipment
-Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times

Work Schedule + Benefits:

• Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; some overtime as needed
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors

• 5 shifts per week, rotating schedule and alternating days off

• Pay Range: $20.50 to $24.00/hourly (Depending on experience)

Job Requirements:

• One (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilities preferred but not required
• Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals used in cleaning activities
• High school diploma or GED
• Sanitation experience in a food processing plant preferred but not required

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Occasional work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit
• Ability to climb ladders and not be afraid of heights
• Position requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
• Will work in cold, damp environments; will work in warm, damp environments
• Will wear rain gear while hosing down equipment
• Ability to withstand varied environmental conditions, such as cold and heat, extreme wet, within closed surroundings
• Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings
• Production rooms are warm when cleaning them: 70-80 degrees
