Night Guard Jobs

Job Summary: The Night Operations is primarily responsible for monitoring bird health and a securing a safe work environment for employees, visitors, and customers. Maintains company professionalism and reputation at all time. Summary of Job Functions: Monitor environmental settings for birds and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons after normal operating hours and to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Monitor PMSI program and alarms. Perform corrective actions on all alarms that are triggered. Monitor security gates and cameras after farm hours. Call police or fire department in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Complete reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment and property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences and keep laundry done . Maintains company’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and public relations. Compliance to USDA regulations and Iowa Cage Free Good Manufacturing Practices as well as the Food Defense Program Understand and follow site biosecurity plan. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency Relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the position Ability to work well with staff and public Ability to interact with diverse population Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to act calmly and with composure in difficult situations Speak English and Spanish Knowledge of social and media issues facing Centrum Valley Farms
