Job Description
The NPI Program Manager accelerates revenue growth through high quality and efficient NPI execution. They have principal responsibility for ensuring new products are successfully launched into a new manufacturing facility. The NPI PM is the customer’s single point of contact for all NPI activities and will ensure effective communication and oversee the thoughtful orchestration of multi-functional CFT members activities. The role requires coordination with all disciplines including Purchasing, Engineering, Design, Quality and Production. Success in the role includes a positive, proactive approach to daily work along with strong communication and organizational skills DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: • Coordination of all NPI deliverables to the customer and ensures NPI programs are delivering expected results• Create launch strategies with input from stakeholders and present NPI status to executive level leaders• Plan transfers of NPIs to production, provide cost estimates, mitigate risks, plan resources and maintain budgets• Ensure timely completion of deliverables and orchestrates LEAP Stage Gate reviews• Communicate Project Status, schedule progress, scope changes, key performance indicators• Coordinating meetings with customers and senior management to present executive summaries, action items, and production readiness reviews.• Minimizing inventory / cost exposures through the NPI process by managing and updating cost models• Partner with product development teams to ensure that products under development have DFx best practices applied• Provide technical support for RFQ opportunities and participate in quote reviews• Maintain positive relationships with customers through direct contact, quick response to issues, and anticipation of customer needs• Continually drive improvements in the NPI Process through joint reporting to the Product Realization function SKILLS REQUIRED:• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization as well as directly with key customer contacts• Ability to multitask & prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment• Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal• Must be detail oriented, organized, and have ability to inspire others• Leadership, interpersonal, team building, and coaching skills are essential• Ability to effectively problem solve solutions in a rapidly changing environment• Strong computer skills required: Experience in using an ERP or MRP system (Oracle is preferred); Excel and Wor Candidate will need to complete a Behavioral Based Assessment during the interview process. Denver Salary: $105-130,000 +bonus and benefits
