The New Product Introduction (NPI) Analyst will support all NPI activities for Tastepoint North America to ensure the new product needs of external and internal customers are met. This position will analyze feasibility, formulation, forecasts, and discontinuations working to resolve potential supply issues while confirming compliance with Tastepoint’s inventory strategies. The NPI Analyst will be working with Integrated Planning, Raw Material Planning, Global Procurement, Creative, Process Development & Engineering, QA, QC, Customer Service and Sales.
  • Identify and resolve potential high profile scale up issues using SAP analytical tools.
  • Develop systems to facilitate the transfer from bench to production which drives and implements continuous improvement to the NPI Process.
  • Scale up issues
  • Responsible for the communication of supply and process information to and from Global Procurement, Operations, Creative and Commercial.
  • Present monthly NA NPI metrics reports that demonstrating trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of material supply plans that meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure the smooth transition to operations of products to meet customer’s requirements.
  • Leverage expertise to identify and prevent potential:

Job Requirements
  • Excellent communications and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and run projects, a self-starter.
  • Extensive spreadsheet and database experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
Preferred
  • Project management skills.
  • Exposure to supply chain projects with a global scope.
  • Solid working knowledge of SAP and IFFMan.
