Job Description
Are you ready to join a company that’s redefining multiple home service industries with high quality proprietary products? Do you have the drive to get a startup business off the ground? We are looking for a versatile and experienced Product Manager to join our team.


As a New Business Product Manager, you will be responsible for:


Business Proposition Development, Testing & Refinement


  • Collaborate with Business Analyst and VP, to create and validate financial viability including size of prize, pro formas, pricing, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gain input and alignment and lead concept refinements as needed.
  • Design and execute concept validation research as needed (such as homeowner surveys and lead generation testing).


Product Sourcing, Testing and Refinement


  • Identify, source and test equipment, tools and consumables needed for installation.
  • Prepare and execute product testing plans (with suppliers, labs, in-house and customer installation); identify gaps to the MVP and refine product or installation processes as needed.
  • Partner with R&D, Production, Engineering and others to refine the concept-product fit thru the design and testing.
  • Determine list of needed products and create minimum viability requirements (MVP). Identify supplier options and source prototypes.
  • Work with Supply Chain & Legal to negotiate supplier terms, conditions, and pricing.


Launch the Proposition


  • Create product outline and work with other departments to prepare back-office functions such as supplier agreements, labeling, webstore, warehouse, accounting, etc.
  • Recommend launch strategy and execution plan.
  • Facilitate process with Marketing, Training, Technology and other internal and external partners to help them prepare all launch tools, resources and assets.


The Education, Experience & Skills that you will need:


  • Ability to understand, relate with, and communicate to customers, suppliers, and other internal and external partners.
  • Ability and willingness for occasional travel within the United States and Canada.
  • Regular, reliable on-site attendance.
  • Can do attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects in a collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience.
