: We are currently seeking a Network Support Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team and provide support to our existing Network Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining client networks, with experience working with Fortinet firewalls, switches, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Ubiquiti Wi-Fi equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and perform routine health checks to ensure optimal operation
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues for clients in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement network improvements and enhancements
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency support as needed
• Keep up to date with advancements in networking technologies and industry best practices
• Assist in the maintenance, management, and configuration of client networks, including Fortinet firewalls, switches, and Ubiquiti Wi-Fi equipment

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, and OSPF
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and wi-fi equipment with preferred direct use of Fortinet and Ubiquiti solutions
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, or equivalent are a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• At least 2 years of experience in network administration or a related role, or relevant college/trade school education
