Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY: Assists with the strategic enterprise design, deployment, and support of current and future Corporate Network Security Technologies. Develops, designs, tests, maintains, and supports network security equipment. Pro-actively monitors and troubleshoots the network security related hardware and software to prevent network downtime and maximize system performance. Second level escalation point for network security service issues and implement network security infrastructure configuration changes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


  • Research emerging network security technologies, participating in IT Architectural discussions and designs.
  • Assists with the implementation of complex network security infrastructure projects.
  • Develops enterprise network security definition requirements, design, and operational support documentation.
  • Provides onsite tier two support for IT network security infrastructure and after hours & on-call support for the entire organization.
  • With supervision, coordinates and manages enterprise vendors, service providers, Facilities, and other IT service lines.

STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Associate degree required or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 Years of experience in enterprise network security infrastructure.
  • Preferred Recognized & Certified Network Security Certification (E.g. Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator).
