Job Description

Our client in Jacksonville, FL is searching for multiple Network Administrator to join there network support team. This person will have a love for sports and an interested in supporting nextgen Networking Technologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Support network security systems including firewalls and network access control systems.
  • The network administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organizations router/switch infrastructure with a focus on security and availability.
  • Identify/troubleshoot/resolve network related issues.
  • Configure and install network components.
  • Analyst network performance and activity
  • Maintain networks and ensure stability on local and wide area networks.
  • Support the network field team with stability of networks and overall connectivity.


Qualifications:

  • Experience monitoring, maintaining and configuring Firewalls - Palo Alto Preferred
  • Experience in supporting IP networks for voice, data and video
  • Experience with routers and switches - Cisco/Meraki Technology products
  • Experience with data / IP networking and protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, GRE, TCP, FTP, DNS), and layer 2 protocols
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • 3+ experience administering LANs and WANs (data, voice, security) in a complex operational environment, including maintaining and creating documentation of solutions
