Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team in support of the Air Force's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada.


Must be a US Citizen


Active DoD TS (T5) Security Clearance required


Non-remote: (relocation incentive is available)


The Network Administrator will support and manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems for the Air National Guard's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations. You will work across many teams and high-level managers in the organization to design, lead, manage, maintain, track, deploy, implement, troubleshoot, and support the workforce environment. You will provide on-site support as necessary to ensure all network capabilities are available.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolves complex problems.
  • Patch/upgrade firmware, change components, and maintain the network.
  • Participate in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
  • Provide advice and training to end-users.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
  • Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
  • Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Manage the usage and performance of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
  • Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment.
  • Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
  • Provide local on-call/call-back touch labor support.
  • Manage the network components of a global information system.
  • Configure switches, routers, and crypto devices.

Qualifications


  • IAT Level I or II Certification (CompTIA Network+, Sec+ CE, etc.) equivalent or higher
  • Must possess an Active TS (T5) Security Clearance.
  • JNCIP-SP Certification (Service Provider Routing and Switching, Professional)
  • Computing Environment certification in either Windows Server, ACAS, HBSS, or similar technology within 60 days of hire.
  • US Citizen
  • Four (4+) or more years of directly related experience in systems administration or a similar role.
