Job Description

High-Level Individual Duties:

  • Wants someone to come in and document the entire app so they can understand the workflow. Once they can do that, they would then start to improve the app.
  • Production Support (more documentation – support would be fixing ‘low hanging fruit’ through automation)
  • SQL & VBA
  • This needs to be a SENIOR level resource, who can come in and hit the ground running from day 1. There will be no “ramp” up time.
  • Developer needs to go through the code and figure out what is going on—getting the application stable
  • Build Documentation (overall app + data integrity checks + rules)
  • Review

Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

  • MS Access & ODBC
  • SQL
  • WinForms—maybe WPF
  • VB.NET

Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

  • Enterprise level experience
  • Longhorn Server experience
  • Scripting experience
