Samsung SDSA is seeking a full-stack .Net Developer position is part of a team that creates and maintains small to medium-sized custom internal applications that supports the business and operations for our Austin Semiconductor location and our brand new state-of-the-art Semiconductor Fab in Taylor, TX.

This role will be working onsite 3 days a week, and 2 days from home. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential to live within 2 hours driving distance from Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and enhance the intranet for a user base of 5,000 engineers, technicians and other internal stakeholders.
• Balance development and maintenance tasks.
• Keep to schedule following the software development life cycle.
• Enhance web applications with new technology.
• Maintain current, existing Intranet applications.
• Interface with customers throughout the software development life cycle.
• Develop software solutions by understanding customer needs and process flow.
• Design and develop web applications within a large intranet environment.
• Create properly-designed and normalized relational databases in SQL Server (2012 - 2022) with the appropriate security models, optimized stored procedures and indexes.
• Develop and support of existing applications written in .NET/C# (v1.1 to v7) on IIS (v6 to v10).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server or Oracle database development.
• Knowledge of or experience with ASP.NET MVC, AJAX, SSIS, SSRS, and ETL.
• 5+ years of experience with: Visual Studio (2005 - 2022), C#, VB.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required (Bachelor’s preferred).
