Job Description
Overview:
The UT/MPI Certified Inspector is certified and works closely with a Level II or Level III Certified Inspector to process parts
Major Position Responsibilities:
  • Maintain chemical levels in etch tanks as per written procedures
  • Must adhere and follow work instructions according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) as outlined for this position
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Responsible for following the guidance of a Level II or Level III Certified UT/MPI Operator
  • Ability to operate UT/MPI machinery and process parts accordingly under the direct supervision of a Level II Certified UT/MPI Operator
  • Must be willing to be certified as a Level I Certified Inspector which includes 200 hours on the job training and must be able to pass a General and Practical Exam after 40 hours of onsite classroom training
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be able to pass a visual examination
  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test, audiogram and physical
  • Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours per day and lift a minimum of 45 lbs
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred but not necessary as on the job training will be provided
  • Must be able to maintain certification levels according to NAS 410
  • High School Diploma
