WyCo offers a turnkey line of services, including installations, preventative/predictive maintenance, 24/7 emergency repairs, equipment, and part sales. WyCo has worked tirelessly to develop and maintain our customer base, while at the same time setting the standard for success in the conveyor industry. To help us with our continued growth, we need an experienced Director of Operations – one that has senior management experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role will require outstanding organization, communication, and leadership skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The right candidate will work closely with the WyCo executive team to strategize and develop long-term plans, helping to usher in new levels of productivity in our teams and bringing success to our company. We would also love to see this candidate have some mechanical maintenance and/or construction experience.


This position requires travel to our different regions to meet with our teams and customers.


The Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate and lead Regional Managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Work with Executives and Regional Managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Human Resources to lead the Regional Teams with integrity, and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
  • Devise strategies for ensuring the growth of programs amongst WyCo’s regional teams and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
  • Adhere to WyCo’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Draw on relationships with Regional Managers, internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.
  • Travel to WyCo’s various regions to meet with our teams and customers.


Here’s what we’re looking for from YOU

  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.
  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
  • Mechanical maintenance and/or construction experience.
  • 10+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, and employee management.
  • Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
  • Experience developing budgets and business plans.
  • Ability to streamline and implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting WyCo’s rapidly shifting business demands.
