Work Performed

Provide piano accompaniment for musical groups, including the Duke Chorale, individual singers, and musicians. Duties include accompanying auditions, rehearsals, and performances.

Play complex music with outside practice and sightreading.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education/Training

Work requires a broad knowledge of music and piano accompaniment generally acquired through at least 2 years of post-secondary education.

Experience

Work generally requires two year's experience as an accompanist/collaborative pianist OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
