Multiple Contract Roles For Museum Project

Open contract positions:

• Sr. UX Designer | $63/hr
• Sr. UX Strategist/Researcher | $67/hr
• Sr. Data Analyst | $54/hr
• Sr. Content Strategist | $50/hr

Engagement: 5-7 months

Hours: 20-40 hours/week

Travel: May require travel to Washington, D.C.

Note: All positions are contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience with organizational strategy for digital transformation projects
• Established and demonstrated experience providing consulting services in the cultural heritage sector, including museums, libraries, and archives, emphasizing digital strategy, infrastructure, and data management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges
• Deep understanding of digital strategies, user-centric design, data analysis, and content strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience conducting assessments of organizational capabilities, conducting gap analyses, providing recommendations for designing and implementing digital strategies and operational processes, and creating roadmaps for digital strategy implementation
• Experience as part of a professional services or consulting team, including digital transformation, stakeholder relationship management, and managing delivery of complex professional service engagements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Passion for thought leadership in digital transformation, digital strategy, user experience, and organizational change management

About The Project

In this role, you'll work directly with museum stakeholders to shape their future as they transform their agency, modernize their infrastructure, and evolve how they use technology to connect with their audience, employees, and partners. You'll be a key part of the team, specializing in scoping, shaping, and delivering organizational and process transformations. You'll conduct interviews and workshops to assess current-state environments, and plan and deliver a digital strategy roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Examine compliance with accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.1. Provide recommendations for ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all users
• Evaluate staffing, professional development, and organizational structure, aligning them with current and future resources, including financial, human capital/talent, and expertise
• Assess and review systems dependencies, integrations, and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and enhanced efficiency
• Identify potential opportunities to leverage technology for a richer museum experience and audience engagement
