Motion Designer Jobs

Our client is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer in the Los Angeles area to create high quality digital and motion graphics for various projects. In addition to motion graphics, you may be required to create static graphic designs for various marketing materials such as ecommerce content, emails, social media graphics, and website assets. You Will:

• Work with Design Director to develop concepts and implement design strategies in animation, audio and video
• Design modern email templates optimized for mobile display
• Maintain creative quality control through editing and approval process
• Create static graphic designs for various marketing materials such as ecommerce content, emails, social media graphics, and website assets
• Concept, design and produce high-quality, engaging, and innovative motion graphic content that elevate brand experiences and drive results
• Create and maintain branded visual elements for social media outlets and other properties such as blogs
• Design and maintain layouts through art and copy revisions
• Create compelling interactive designs for a variety of platforms including mobile, web, and social channels including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Pinterest pages

You Have:

• Great attitude - positive, collaborative, self-starter
• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia/Digital Design or related field or equivalent experience in motion design
• Strong knowledge of post-production workflow and the latest video production techniques
• Must have a strong sense of typography, web design, graphic design and motion design including 2D and 3D modeling/animation
• Experience producing content for social media platforms and websites
• Work well with tight deadlines in a team environment
• Creative and technical expertise with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other associated tools
• Working knowledge of sound mixing and color correction and video production techniques
• Experience developing motion content in the consumer goods products industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
• Expertise with Macintosh based graphics programs, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
• Experience in storyboarding video and motion graphics
• Possess a good design "flair", a broad thinker and able to offer a variety of design solutions

• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
• Onsite/offsite: Onsite 5x a week in Van Nuys CA, (HQ)
• Pay rate: $55-$65 / hour DOE
• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6+ months with possible extension
• Team Structure: Reporting to Design Director
