Job Summary
This position performs essential duties and possesses responsibilities that support the operations and processes of the JustChoice Lending division of Fahe. This position serves primarily as the departments Administrative phone support, Back up closer support, My Place Mortgage DPA Processor and as a liaison for Loan Officer Support. Ensures that all closing and post-closing requirements are met and followed through to investor purchase and documentation is completed timely and accurately. Ensures all My Place Mortgage related needs and functions are processed in a timely manner. Provides administrative support for secondary market reporting. Provides administrative assistance to the Loan Officer for retail and third-party loan disclosures. Serves as administrative support for the departments file storage and other special tasks/projects.
Essential Duties And Functions
  • Aid Compliance staff surrounding vendor renewals and audits as needed.
  • Prepares closed loan packages for all loan types following all lending laws and programmatic rules to ensure packages are completed accurately within required timeframe.
  • Issues purchase advice and other related funding information for Correspondent Lenders adhering to accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains relationships between JustChoice Lending and Third-Party Vendors, Member Groups, Third Party Originators and others to ensure smooth processes, clear communication and accuracy.
  • Provides Loan Servicing with necessary file information for onboarding of all closed loans within the required timeframe.
  • Adhere to closing instructions and verify that all closing conditions have been satisfied.
  • As needed, maintains appraiser list by removing and updating vendors as needed to ensure the department is AIR compliant as needed, quarterly and/or annually.
  • Initial point of contact to monitor the department’s application/leads email inbox and to direct emails to the appropriate employee(s).
  • As needed, serves as the Vendor Manager. Orders appraisals in accordance with AIR policy.
  • Handles confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Works closely with closing agents to ensure timely, accurate requests and efficient closing of all loans that are assigned.
  • Maintains department mortgage loan hard copy files for loans in process, denied and closed. Ensures storage reports and file shipping is completed as needed, but at minimum annually.
  • Processes checks, cash and all fees collected by completing GL tickets and necessary paperwork to comply with finance requirements within the required timeframe.
  • Completes upload of Correspondent Lenders closing package to appropriate GSE or investor for sale within the required timeframe.
  • Initial point of contact for the department’s toll-free line to filter and direct calls to the appropriate employee
  • Monitors and tracks all loans daily as needed to ensure they are received by necessary parties in a timely manner as required.
  • Works with secondary market point of contacts to correct any requested documentation requirements for all loans sold by JustChoice Lending within investors required timeframe.
  • Ensures all post-closing documentation is submitted within the required time frame to all secondary market partners for completion of file.
  • Prepares loan origination disclosures for Retail and Third-Party Origination channels for all loan types following all lending laws and programmatic rules to ensure packages are completed accurately when needed.
  • Ensures all assigned month end reporting is complete and accurate before the 5th of each month
  • Maintains department’s storage of mortgage loan hard copy files for loans in process, denied and closed.
Requirements For This Position Include
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Business Writing Skills and basic grammar, versatility, prioritize multiple projects, dealing with a diverse group of external and internal contacts at all levels, accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work; compliance with established work, health and safety rules.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Critical Thinking, Analysis, Problem Solving, Planning, Research, Mathematical Skills, Organization, Detail Oriented, Employee’s consistency, productivity and timeliness in completion of work.
  • Ability to retain and adapt within a consistently changing environment.
Preferred Education And Experience
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Experience: 1-2 Years’ administrative experience in a related field preferred
