Morning And Midday Anchor

Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (subject to any medical or religious accommodations or other applicable law).

Four year college degree in journalism or related discipline preferred. Two plus years prior television news experience as an anchor or reporter preferred. Ability to produce newscasts. Ability to use, transport and lift video camera equipment and tripod (approx. 55 lbs.) without assistance from a grip or videographer. Proficient at shooting and editing under extreme deadline pressure. Outstanding interpersonal skills, a team player.

Enterprising, shooting, writing, editing and presenting news stories for multiple distribution platforms, including KEZI 9 News, KEZI 9.2, kezi.com and KEZI 9 News Mobile. Perform live shots from the newsroom and in the field. Anchor and produce newscasts as assigned. Serving as a public representative of KEZI 9 News at various community functions.

This is a full-time position, rate of pay is salaried.

KEZI-TV is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley. You’ll live and work just a short drive away from golfing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and the beautiful Oregon coast. Portland is less than a two hour drive away if you need an occasional big city fix.
