Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Monitor Technician is responsible for ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and provides Nurses and/or clinicians with immediate notifications of any changes in cardiac rhythms. The Technician assists with maintenance of monitoring equipment through delivery, pick up, and cleaning of telemetry equipment. Monitor Technicians must possess effective commination skills.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Education

High School or equivalent.


Minimum Work Experience

No previous experience.


Required Licenses/Certifications


Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Ability to handle confidential information.

Maintains professional appearance at all times.
