Job Description

A clinical laboratory is looking for Mobile Phlebotomists for the Jacksonville, Florida area.

THE OPEN/AVAILABLE SHIFTS ARE:

  • NIGHT STATS - 4pm - 12pm
  • Weekend Morning Run - 3am - 9am latest
  • STATS - 8am - 2pm
  • Morning Run - Monday-Friday - 3am- 9am latest
  • On Call - Saturday and Sunday all day

Responsibilities

  • Label and properly package specimens for transport to the clinical laboratory
  • Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collect blood samples from patients using proper laboratory techniques and equipment
  • Perform mobile phlebotomy services at various locations
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile setting
  • Valid certification as a phlebotomist or medical laboratory technician
  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedure

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
