Job Description

Position Summary

Work you’ll do
  • Perform Batch and interface operations including FTP, scheduling, and error handling within specified SLAs.
  • Development (enhancement and maintenance) of enterprise technology solutions that satisfy business requirements for Medicaid and CHIP Medicaid and CHIP claims, enrollment, rates, providers.
  • Assist in planning, architecture, analysis, and design of enterprise technology solutions that satisfy business requirements for large complex systems in the Medicaid/MMIS or health insurance claims and pricing space.
  • Will assist Senior Manager leading the DDI or System Operations transition and will have a team of developers and infrastructure personnel to support.
  • Will ensure developers are trained and prepare for operational readiness demonstrations.
  • Lead in the transition of current methodology to an Agile SAFe mindset and deliver system operations, enhancements, and maintenance via domain aligned sprint teams.
  • Use experience working in a Medicaid, MMIS setting or in a health insurance Managed Care Organization setting. to understand the current state, perform systems operations job duties and prepare for operational readiness demonstrations.
  • Work with the scrum masters and runs agile maintenance and development sprints.

Qualifications
Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required US Security clearance
  • 4+ years of MMIS experience relating to claims and encounters, pricing rate setting application development, Medicaid encounter data processing, Medicaid eligibility determination, EDI X12 887 claims management for FFS claims and EDI Clearinghouse
Preferred:

  • 5+ years of Tableau/ Qlik, ArcGIS experience
  • Hands-on TANDEM/NonStop X Systems development; Using Tools and Languages TAL, TACL, Tandem COBOL, TANDEM C++, ENSCRIBE, ENFORM, SQL MP / MX, TANDEM pathway, Tandem internal messaging system, FUP, BATCHCOM, SQLCI, Host security module, tokenization and encryption Reporting and analytics for Medicaid and
  • 5+ years of TANDEM/HP Nonstop platform - 5-7 years development experience (GUARDIAN / OSS, COBOL, C, C++, JAVA
  • 5+ years of EDI EDIFECS XEngine / equivalent experience
  • Agile development experience and SCRUM certification are pluses.
