Microbiology Support Technician (Crown Point, In)

DonLevy Laboratories, part of the IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group, is now accepting applications for Microbiology Support Technician – Day Shift position at its facility in Crown Point, IN.

DonLevy Laboratories is an independent, commercial, food testing laboratory dedicated to food safety and committed to quality challenges throughout the supply chain. We perform microbiological and chemistry analyses on environmental, raw material, and finished product samples submitted by food companies industry wide.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess The Following Skills

– A high school diploma or GED (required); an associate degree in Biology or related field (preferred)

– Strong attention to detail

– Proficiency with data entry and computer applications

– Ability to multitask

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

– Strong written and verbal communication skills

– Self-motivated

Microbiology Support Technician Duties may include, but are not limited to, media preparation, cleaning lab equipment and tools, daily quality control and laboratory maintenance.

Full-time employees will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. Candidates must be willing to work some weekends.
