Position Summary:

The role of the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all facets of freight monitoring and delivery of import containers to ensure an exceptional customer experience with timely and efficient delivery of products. The candidate will work independently, developing relationships, and minimizing risks. The position requires the candidate to track & trace as well as manage customer orders for movement via all modes of transportation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing information regarding tariffs and other requirements for import custom brokerage.
  • Manage customs broker relationships for compliance and to ensure quick entry for optimal efficiency.
  • Handling communication with our various partners and being a facilitator of information to maintain an organized operation for our inbound ocean freight.
  • Organizing and instilling SOPs in compliance with the company’s vision to increase productivity regarding our 3PL and owned warehouse operations.
  • Ownership of customs documentation to manage data and documents of pre-entry, customs entry, and post-entry.
  • Coming up with solutions, detailing them, and converting current and new processes into SOP’s that will define our strategies moving forward.
  • Maintain day-to-day management of our logistics operations, by having a daily log of our shipments in transit, along with overseeing Greenworks door deliveries with our drayage partners.
  • Resolve ocean and air transit time questions and issues as they arise.
  • Oversee air shipments, LTL and FTL shipments with our existing pricing agreements and organizing pickups and deliveries with the warehouse.

Experience Required:

  • Ability to analyze data and familiarity with budget and business analysis.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
  • Superior organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, and motivated, and must work well individually or as a member of a team.
  • Accomplished contributor with cross-functional team environments
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
