Overview:

Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 24 months experience in a Medical Assistant or completion of an accredited MA education program
• Certifications: Certification as a Medical Assistant. Current certification in CPR
• Other: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge.
• Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred.
• Preferred Education: Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
• Education: HS Diploma or GED

RN/LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensure: Current Arkansas license as a registered nurse or LPN
• Certifications: Current certification in CPR
