The Role: Memory Care RN/LPN at Glenridge

Glenridge is looking for a high-performing nurse (RN or LPN) who's committed to providing quality care to our geriatric population. Join our team of award-winning, highly engaged RNs, LPNs, CNA-Ms, and CNAs in our 120-bed skilled and long-term care facility that specializes in the care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

This position is 24 hours on the Day Shift (7a-7p) with no weekends.


The Work


  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires. May perform assigned supervisory responsibilities as needed.
  • Evaluates the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.


You Have


  • 1 year of nursing experience is preferred, new grads are welcome to apply!
  • Either a current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or the ability to obtain one in a timely fashion
  • Ability to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively
  • Ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities
  • Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills
