Job Description
Our partner, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a Medical Science Liaison, Gyn Oncology in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, exempt, field-based position. The MSL will play a crucial role as the scientific interface between our organization and the healthcare professional community. Responsibilities include effectively communicating scientific information about products, sharing scientific data and clinical development plans, establishing and nurturing relationships within the medical/scientific community, and providing healthcare professionals with medical and/or scientific data.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide competitive intelligence (CI) and disease treatment trends to the organization.
  • Serve as an internal scientific resource for training and educational support.
  • Provide field-based medical information, scientific data, and education to healthcare professionals on FDA-approved and pipeline products.
  • Support the Clinical Operations organization in our sponsored research.
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with thought leaders, clinical investigators, and other providers in the scientific community.
  • Attend and provide scientific support at US Scientific Affairs activities and scientific sessions at regional and national congress meetings.
  • Ensure compliance in all scientific communications and education related to disease states of interest.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with investigators interested in discussing and developing investigator-initiated research.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%.
  • At least 2 years of combined oncology or industry experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Advanced degree with a scientific/clinical background preferred, with at least 1-2 years' experience as an MSL or comparable role.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information.
  • Strategic, passionate, self-starter with initiative.
  • Good judgment and ability to adapt in a shifting environment.
  • Ability to work well in both large and small teams.
  • Fluency in articulating scientific concepts and data.
