Record Review Reader/ Medical Report Editor

Seeking full-time remote employee with one day a week in our Keizer office. We perform Independent Medical Evaluations and are expanding our Quality Assurance Department.

Responsibilities:

• Contact physician to discuss any discrepancies
• Review transcribed reports for correct spelling and grammar
• Compare the transcribed report against the medical records in the chart
• Ensure the physician answered the cover letter questions completely and applied the appropriate workers’ compensation laws/rules

Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of Oregon Workers’ Compensation Laws and Rules
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Strong communication skills in writing and in person
• Extensive knowledge and use of medical terminology
• Excellent proofreading skills and attention to details
• Highly motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize work demands

Compensation:

Job Type:Full-time

Pay:$17.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
