Riverside University Health System (RUHS) seeks a Medical Records Technicians II who will be assigned to their Riverside County - Correctional Health Systems, located in Murrieta.
The incumbent in this position will work with the Health Information staff. The Medical Records Technician will be tasked with scanning medical, correctional healthcare, and hospital healthcare records to assist with compiling statistics for use in reports and surveys and to respond to inquiries regarding patient medical records. Additionally, the incumbent will represent the County in court cases when subpoenas are submitted, and interact with customers, patients, healthcare professionals, attorneys, Judges, and court personnel. The Correctional Health Systems desires candidates who have experience with MS Excel, MS Word, EPIC, TechCare, and JIMs.
