Medical Records Coordinator Jobs

As our Medical Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely compilation and organization of medial records with the goal of optimizing patient enrollments. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be relied on for your efficiency and organizational skills as you navigate medical record offices.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Verify patient eligibility, determine patient coverage/responsibility for Movn program.
• Meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets.
• Collaborate with referring sites to ensure patients' records are complete.
• Attend ongoing training sessions and team meetings.
• Support enrollments by ensuring timely referral hand-offs to enrollment team.
• Track and maintain records of all interactions using our internal systems.
• Serve as the first point of contact for inbound patient referrals and medical records.
• Identify lags, trends with gathering medical records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience working with all payer types, including Medicare and commercial insurance companies
• Detail oriented, organized and able to maintain data accuracy
• Ability to track and report on a key metric or several key metrics that define your success
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare and medical records experience
