Medical Performance Analysis Consultant – Behavioral Health

Location : This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Medical Performance Analysis Consultant is responsible for reviewing and preparing the interpretation of historical financial data, financial projections, and results. Performs consulting services to support business development studies, economic evaluation, and planning functions.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Advises management of various financial models and recommendations.
• Trains and reviews the work of lower-level Financial Analysts.
• Identifies complex financial problems or issues, researches solutions and implements corrective steps to achieve higher level of efficiency.
• Prepares complex presentations. Prepares financial planning, financial section of annual and quarterly reports to shareholders, applicable government reports, and budget reports.
• Is used as a resource by staff or outside departments.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting, finance, or budget and planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences

• Healthcare insurance finance experience (specifically, Behavioral Health) strongly preferred.
• Ability to manipulate and analyze large sets of data strongly preferred.
• Experience interacting confidently with key stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of internal business processes, data flow, controls and our financial systems preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $67,680 to $121,824
